New ~ Citronella Essential Oil

INTRODUCING: CITRONELLA ESSENTIAL OIL!
This week's Item of the Week doubles as a launch for the wonderful Citronella Essential Oil!
You spoke, we listened: we've been getting customer requests for Citronella EO as the temperatures rise since it is a key ingredient in many natural, DIY bug sprays.
We are offering Citronella EO for the introductory prices of $4.99 for 5ml and $6.99 for 15ml, AND for this week only, you will receive free shipping on your ENTIRE ORDER if you include Citronella EO.
A bit more about Citronella:
There are two types of citronella commonly sold as essential oil. Spark Naturals uses the Ceylon variety, which is the variety that has historically been used and is generally regarded as being superior. Citronella is an herbaceous perennial scented grass that grows wild and cultivated in tropical areas to heights of a meter or taller. It is yellowish-brown with a strong, tart, earthy and lemony scent.
Properties: Antidepressant, Anti-fungal, Antiviral, Insecticidal, Anti-inflammatory, Diuretic, Antispasmodic, Stimulant, and Antiseptic.
Historical Uses: Used historically for digestive complaints, parasites, canker sores, pain relief, and detoxification.
Possible Uses:
Along with insect repellent, Citronella is also widely used in soapmaking, household disinfectants, deodorant, perfume, and as an ingredient in hair and massage oils (especially for oily hair).
Blends well with Bergamot, Geranium, Lemon, Orange, and Lavender.

Lemon Essential Oil

Lemon ~ There is a lot of power is the fresh little fruit.
It takes approx 3000 Lemon Rinds to produce 1 kilo of
Essential Oil.
Probably one of the most used Essential Oils & A personal favorite of mine.
Cost Per Drop ~ this a very inexpensive, powerful tool to have in your home.

Brighten your face blend:

2 Drops Lemon
2 Drops Grapefruit
3-4 Drops Witch Hazel on cotton round

Acne Blend:
2 tsp FCO
7 Drops Lemon
5 Drops Melaleuca

Mix in small glass container and "push" several cotton rounds
to absorb all the liquid. Apply to face day and night. Adapt and use other EOs
until you find the right combination like adding Frankincense, Geranium,
Grapefruit, and/or Clove.

                              Ingredients:

Spark Naturals also offers Nature - Outdoor Blend
The Spark Naturals outdoor blend is simply amazing!
With a fresh Lemon Vanilla smell the outdoor blend has been pre-blended in fractionated coconut oil and ready to use as is for best effectiveness.
This is a proprietary natural blend of lemon, eucalyptus, citronella, lemongrass and other pharma-grade essential oils.
This blend uses fractionated coconut oil as a carrier so its
not recommended for use in a diffuser.
